In a bar late at night, Dionysus celebrates his last day as a mortal, on his way to becoming a god. But his revelry is interrupted when he meets Apollo, on his last day as a god, on his way to becoming a mortal. In one chaos filled hour, the pair bicker, reveal deeply concealed feelings, drink, dance, and discuss two big questions: is it better to be a god? Or is it better to be a mortal?
A two-man play rich with character, 'Ascension' invites you to become part of the story world as Dionysus' followers, joining him to celebrate his ascension to divinity.
